What the RSLinx Classic does is in rough words connect to the PLC over Ethernet/IP (or other communication protocol) and bridge the data as OPC server, which can be reached from OPC Clients. Rockwell RSLinx Classic is a Shareware software in the category Miscellaneous developed by KRONES AG. I registered the license via internet at the office and transferred it on-site. Verify ommunication ommunication between RSLinx and the PL can be verified using the OP Test lient provided by Rockwell Software.
